Taking cues from his painting and drawing visual art techniques and colour palettes, Max made the natural transition into makeup after years as a hair stylist. Now, with over thirteen years in the industry, Max has solidified himself as a sought after celebrity makeup artist.
Max’s effortlessly cool "It Girl" style has become his signature, and has been featured in publications such as HARPER’S BAZAAR AUS, Singapore & China, OYSTER, RUSSH Magazine, 10 Magazine, ELLE Japan and GRAZIA Australia, Italy and UK. Max has also worked with brands including La Mer, MAC, Becca Cosmetics and L’Oreal, as well as founding and directing the online publication MaxMade, chronicling editorial tutorials for the everyday woman.
